Kareema

Hi, I’m Kareema Morris—advocate, strategist, and community ally from Buffalo, NY. The disappearance and death of my young niece ignited a fierce commitment in me: to bring missing children home and uplift affected families. That commitment led to launching Bury the Violence, a nonprofit blending community outreach, advocacy, and search efforts to make real change.

 

Every day, I work to:

 

• Mobilize local communities in urgent search operations

• Build awareness around missing or runaway youth and systemic failures

• Empower families with resources and emotional support

• Collaborate with media, law enforcement, and grassroots networks
